ALTON, Robert Dodsworth

Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving and devoted wife, Mary, whilst in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Monday, 22 April, 2024, aged 78 years. Robert was a much-loved brother to Jane, Barbara and Caroline, loving brother-in-law to Patrick, Tony, Margaret, Pauline and Kevin, loving uncle to Dave, Rob, Margaret, Louise, Andrew, and a very dear friend and colleague to many.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Robert's funeral service are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road on Friday, 10 May at 11.30 am.

No flowers please.

Donations, in memory of Robert, can be made to Jersey Hospice Care, Clarkson House, Mont Cochon, St Helier, JE2 3JB.

I am so sorry to hear about Robert’s death. We worked together at TSB Bank for some years until I was made redundant in 1990. I left the bank and we sort of lost touch. We met up again relatively recently as members of the Jersey Prostate Cancer support group, and shared many happy memories. Sincere best wishes to Robert’s family at this sad time .
